Just Breathe

Simplistic but important advice. Sometimes we get so busy and stressed out, that our breathing becomes shallow. Our brains need oxygen to function at its optimum level and a highly functioning mind is a beautiful one. Take time, right this second, to breathe. Really breathe.

  • Close your eyes, if possible.

  • Fill your lungs with air, through the nostrils.

  • Pause.

  • Exhale through your mouth, slowly.

  • Breathe deeply and slowly.

  • Envision the filling and emptying of your lungs.

  • Listen to your breath.

  • Imagine the stresses in your life, exiting your mind and body as you exhale.

  • Repeat three to five times.

  • Do this exercise as often as you can.

Now...don't you feel better. More calm and focused? Ready to take on the world and be your glamorous self?
